A nice addition to your poster series...I will be sure to link this to my Elizabeth Taylor hub....It is very interesting watching her grow up in her movie posters. National Velvet is a classic, with Donald Crisp's best performance. In Father of the Bride she and Spencer Tracy were excellent as father and daughter. I think she was her sexiest in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof....I can easily picture her in that white dress. As for the 1960s....not sure I like any of these movies....but I know she was outstanding in both of Oscar winning roles...I just did not enjoy the movies.

As for the posters....I give my Gold Medal to...the Belgian poster of Raintree County the Silver Medal to Cleopatra.....and the Bronze to The Last Time I Saw Paris....hard to believe they got away with that poster back then.....the medals were in honor of the Olympics right down the street from you.

Voted up and awesome.....good job my friend.

Hi steve. Another cool set of posters. Wow, if these posters don't show the rise and fall of a major movie star, I don't know what would.

Conanson, UnnamedHarald, welcome to my Liz Taylor poster tribute, your comments and kind words are appreciated.

Bruce, she was a sexy girl but I was only a fan of a handful of her films, I've watched Cleopatra the most times from her filmography. I love those old epics, even the stodgy ones.

That Last Time I Saw Paris poster is naughty, I had to use it, French what do you expect? :)

One film I don't hink I've seen and I want to is Night Watch, it looks creepy. Doctor Faustus might be interesting too, I hear she's nude in that...

UnnamedHarald, I know, the glory days were gone by the 1970s and her last role was Pearl Slaghoople in The Flintstones.

Thanks for posting!
