And finally I have....

And finally....

Finally after months of looking, wishing, hoping and a lot more looking I’ve finally bought myself a Canon 550D or better known in the USA as the Canon Rebel T2i.

Yeah I finally went out and handed over a handful of cash £543 about $850 to the man in the shop and he gave me a box!

I’m never had a SLR or a DSLR before so it all a different ball game when using it. There is buttons for this, setting for that, wow, far too much for now, my head is spinning with it all. I’ve only had it a few days now but I’m loving it so far.

Yes I’m going to be having some fun with my new toy during the coming months ahead as spring and summer are on the way and hopefully some lovely weather. I feel I’ve moved up a level in my photography and now I have the right tool for the job.

I’ve enclosed a few snaps of what I’ve taken so far. I’m sure with time my photography with this camera will become better once I get to grips with it knowing what it can and I can do.

Once I get to grips with the camera I will write again and let you all know how I’m getting on with the camera until then, Take care and thank you for viewing

Congratulations with the new DSLR! :) I got mine (Canon 450D) 2.5 years ago, but still remember this great feeling. You already have nice images, especially I like the photo of the tree, so I'm sure we will see a lot more of great photos from you! Voted up your hub.

Congrats! For me, it's like being in a new relationship, you always want it near you and your excited to know more about it. When I had my first DSLR, I explore the gadget myself than use its manual, it's more fulfilling that way. Enjoy exploring!
