Oil Painting Portfolio For Artist Ben Zoltak

Artist Ben Zoltak has completed his first public sculpture on permanent exhibition at the Stevens Point Sculpture Park. He has been creating unique oil paintings stretched on varying materials for over two decades. His work often depicts figures, buildings, natural environs, tribal animal icons and other types of textures and patterns. He works shapes and hues into eccentric rhythms, sometimes paralleling forms in the shape of the art itself, other times capturing and amplifying natural striations inherent in his subject. Ben Zoltak is inspired by his relationships with family, friends, spirit, tribal heritage and science. Please contact the artist via the link found on the right.

Hi Ben - haven't read one of your hubs for some time. I don't know where I've been! I am normally a person who loves landscapes but I am crazy about your city scapes. You make the buildings look so vibrant and the dead concrete and cold rebar of high rise hard edges seem warm and alive. You are the Man!

Your Hub collection and vitae have uplifted my day, Ben Zoltak. I rated the Hub up and many more, and pinned several of your works. Your Haida Bat is my favorite, but the Haida fishes with an inner fish headed the other direction capture an essence of the People and their history I think not many know.

Hey Ben, thanks for the sculpture, interesting mosaic a la Parc Guell Barca - and some cool textures in your painting. I live close to the Yorkshire Sculpture park in Yorkshire, England - and if you're ever over the pond visiting do not miss this fine open air and enclosed gallery. A lot of Hepworth and Henry Moore.

Votes and a share. Bon peinture!

Thank my stars!

Very good of you to notice, this hub also doubling as my public curriculum vitae and as such has been a work in progress of course, it's ALIVE! Haha, well I hope you are well, and see stars, when you talk here on hubpages, people listen!

I am currently available and actively looking for another opportunity to make my next public or private large concrete sculpture, I would love to travel somewhere new and abroad if anyone out there has a suggestion! Feel free to be forthright with any networking or contacts, I can best be messaged at my facebook "Ben Zoltak Artist & Author" page.

Nastrovia!

I'm sure everyone has a favorite. I love Allison & Bella in the Tulips & your oil on cut steel paintings the best, but I'd love to see them all in person. That usually changes everything. Awesome work! Thanks for sharing it.

Dolores and Patty, thank you so much you know I love it when you all read my work, or in this case view my art.

I have received that type of feedback from people before Dolores, about my cityscapes. I know what you mean about landscapes, Chicago's skyline is practically a rambling canyon of stone that in combination with it's great art and jazz traditions, I tried to learn and play off of all of it when I lived there.

Patty you pay me a great compliment as well, I am honored. I long to see more Haida art, the biggest collection I experienced up close was at the Chicago Field Museum, it really made an impression on me. Would love to make it out west, to see more up close and in it's native environment.

Chef of the day! Thank you so kindly, I have been thinking of your comment here for weeks, and do to domestic responsibility I have been away. Are you saying my work would look good along that of Antonio Gaudi? Fantastic, you are so kind. That means you have fashioned a response with a Spanish, British and French response! Bravo! I have been a fan of Moore's work for years (and Calder) I look forward to finding out about Hepworth, she is new to me, and judging from her internet images, it is work better seen in person.

Thank you for your insight mon frere.

Thanks Easy Exercise! Also some of my favorites, the Loop is inspiring! I do have one Lake Mills landmark painting that should be here, I believe I kept it off because I have prints for it available on cafepress! Let's see, ah yes here's the link!

Thank you warmly for checking out my art EE!!!
