Corporate photographer London

I have been supplying corporate photography and business portraits for over 20 years. I have noticed over the last few years that my client base has started to change. When I started as a corporate photographer in the late 80s all my clients were design agencies. Currently I would say that only 10% of my clients are now agencies. This must be the result of clients being able to source photographers via search engines etc and miss out the agencies. Is this a good thing? On the one hand I have a wider client base now, but do find that I have less contact with the creative process than before. New markets that have emerged are event photographer London and corporate headshots.

I have also found that the type of work has changed. In the past most of my photography was for annual reports or brochures, now it is mainly for websites. Again this has benefits for me as websites can be refreshed changed with ease and with little relative expense compared to printed material.

The thing I have gained from this change as being commissioned as a corporate photographer working in London is that you must get a good idea from the direct clients as to what the aim and objectives of the photo shoot are. Be very clear that you need to know the end use of the images and you can then help the clients get the best results for their requirements.

We have recently launched a corporate photographer agency.

We are a team of corporate photographers helping London companies look approachable and professional with contemporary business portrait photography.

With a passion for good portraiture, we are always looking for new ways to create affordable corporate headshots to assist clients with their marketing and as an experienced LinkedIn photographer we specialise social media business portraits.

We are now promoting our corporate photographer service in London via social media. I would be interested to get any feedback as to which social media platform other photographers promote their business with. We started several years ago using Facebook and run ads which did not bring any interest from corporate clients. We have used Twitter for many years and found it very engaging but took alot of time from a business day and did not seem the current platform to promote a business directly to your followers. LinkedIn proved to be very productive with building a good basic set of connections that work in our market sector and the use of recommendations helps build your online profile. We have now started using Google+ to keep clients updated with regular posts on our corporate photography commissions in London.
