A 30-Minute Earring to Crochet

This is the second piece for for 30-Minute Earrings to Crochet series.

For my husband, this is his favorite because it reminds him of lace-trimmed panties! Such a naughty mind! But it does remind me of such things, too.

This pattern's highlight is the use of puffs and a lace edging to create texture. The puffs are not that visible though. It must be because this is crocheted quite loosely and then it's brushed with glue making it more flat. The color must be a factor, too. If it were light-toned, the puffs would be more visible.

MATERIALS:

I will only list the thread used in this project. Please refer to the cover hub for a complete set of MATERIALS and TOOLS needed for this crocheted earrings.

2 purple and 1 black polyester sewing thread crocheted with #10 steel hook

Skill Level: EASY

This pattern would have been great for a beginner if it didn't have puffs. But if you're a brave beginner, there's a video anyway.

Thank you, Singer Nurse. I'll push through with it in the future.

As for the fan mail you left me naming me as Queen of Philippine Crochet, I don't think I deserve that. Mimi Alelis deserves that. I can be the Princess of Philippine Crochet, though. LOL!

You push through with that business in mind kabayan! You are very talented and creative woman. I can't make crochets like that. I used to make some in yarn but I swear I forgot how I did them back then, now that I try to recall. Hahahaha! :)

Wonderful hub. Looking forward to more of your designs. :)

How I wish I'd have the balls to have a business selling these! But I think having a business will take me away from designing which I love more.

Hubpages let me earn well, so I'd probably stick to designing than selling.

Thanks for your appreciation!
