Know Your DECO Art and How to Conserve This Art.

Beautiful decor has always attracted me and i'm sure it does attract you people. Everyone love to have some masterpiece in there home or office. I always love to discover about some new art which gives art a different meaning. Each Painting, art carry different meaning in itself. It was a pleasant surprise for me when my dear hubby Sriram gifted me a beautiful DECO Masterpiece of Ravi Varma painting. He is one of my favourite painters and i admire his art alot. And today i'm going to share some interesting facts about this art and how to take care if you own a DECO painting.

DECO as the name says comes to your place as a beautiful decorative art. Deco Painting is a Greek art form which originated during the 17th century. Characterized by geometric designs, bold colour and the use of plastic, glass and wood. In 1970 Art Deco was widely used, it was coined at te great Paris art exhibition n 1925 the" L exposition internationale des art decoratifs et industralist modernes". Art Deco is also known as depression in art because many art Deco buildings were built during the great depression in 1930. Soon, art Deco began as smart urban style in united states. Art deco architecture,painting etc is recognizable because of three main things distinct geomeric shapes, bright colour and decorative look.

The advantage of Deco painting form is that it can be performed on terra-cotta, treated wood, brick tails,fibre,brass etc. All types of photographs and painting can be converted into Deco painting witout any change its original feature.

Know to Conserve your Deco Art:

  • The product being fragile, should not be droppped on to hard surface.
  • Should be protected from scratches.
  • Use only plain water to clean the Deco- Art surface.
  • Do not use solvents like benzene,thinner etc.
  • Keep the Deco-Art product away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
