Another great list. I'm surprised there are Gene Hackman films I haven't seen. The French Connection was great. Although I hate basketball, I also think Hoosiers was great.

Gene Hackman is such a versatile actor and has been part of so many great films and although he is often not the "lead", he always turns in a solid performance. I have had The Conversation in my Netflix Queue for a while and I am thinking it might be time to finally move it up. I originally put it in when I was watching all of Harrison Ford's old films.

David, Geekdom, Mhatter99, thank you for the comments, always appreciated.

Gene Hackman is one of my favourites, great actor, always worth watching. He seems to have retired from acting. I think he's in his 80's now.

I picked 35 out of the 80 films he has appeared in starting with the film that made him world famous.

Thanks for posting.

As always, a fun, interesting, informational stream of movie posters with it's corresponding actors, etal......Gene Hackman is the man. Such an all-time great film star. I don't think he ever had a bad movie!

Hi Paula, thanks for commenting on my poster hub, always welcome and appreciated.

Gene Hackman could play good guys and bad guys with ease, an excellent actor, a shame we won't be seeing him in any new films.

Thanks for posting.

I find it very sad that it appears there will never be another new Gene Hackman movie...growing up it seemed that he had a new movie every two or three months....I remember somebody saying that there is always a Gene Hackman or Michael Caine movie on tv 24 hours a day.

My favorite Hackman movies would be A Bridge Too Far(granted his part was small....but I really liked his part)....Unforgiven, Superman 2, and Get Shorty.

I like to think that The Conversation and Enemy of the State are connected...that Hackman is playing the character in Enemy of the State as the character that we get to know in The Conversation.

Voted up and interesting...lots of new posters that I had not seen before.

Thanks Bruce, appreciate the comment and observation. Interesting connection you made there, maybe they did have that character in mind when they were making Enemy of the State.

Highest rated Hackman film on this page is Unforgiven. Lowest rated is Superman IV.

Thanks for posting.
