Lavender and Amethyst Granny square afghan or baby blanket pattern
This is a easy project and I have done some variations in the design. I am sharing the pattern
This item measures 17 inches and is made from 100% acrylic yarn It is washable and dry able. I am planning to sell items like these soon.
Items required -
- Crochet needle = 5mm (US H/8)
- Scissors
- 1 ball of Lavender ( I used Impeccable Impeccable yarn )
- 1 ball of Amethyst ( i used Impeccable Impeccable yarn )
Abbreviations -
Chain = ch
Lavender = Yarn A
Amethyst = Yarn B
Directions
Round 1
- Use yarn A in the first round
- Ch 4.
- Join the 4 chains using a slip stitch.
- Now Ch 3, this ch 3 which you did will be the first double crochet.
- Now do 2 double crochetin the loop.
- Chain 2
- Do 3 double crochet in the loop.
- Chain 2.
- Again crochet 3 double crochet
- Chain 2.
- Again do 3 double crochet in the loop.
- Ch 2.
- Now join the ch by doing a slip stitch in the first chain.
- Round 2
- Ch 3
- Now we see a gap, ch 2 double crochet in it.
- Ch 1
- Make 3 double crochet.
- Ch 2
- Go to the next corner ( there will be 4 corners)
- * Make 3 double crochet, ch 1 and crochet 3 double crochet in the same corner.
- Ch 2
- Go to the next corner
- Repeat *
- Ch 2
- Repeat *
- Join the ch by a sl stitch.
Round 3
- Ch 3
- 2 double crochet in the same space.
- Ch 1
- 3 double crochet in the same. space
- Ch 2
- Go to the next gap.
- Repeat *
- Keep repeating * and do Ch 2 till you have crocheted every gap.
- Round 4
- Use yarn B for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
- Round 5
- Use yarn A for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 6
- Use yarn B for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 7
- Use yarn A for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 8 - 10
- Use yarn B
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 11
- Use yarn A for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 12
- Use yarn B for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
Round 13
- Use yarn A for this round.
- Weave in the ends after completing the round.
