Thanks Mhatter99, your comments are always welcome.

Let's see... the highest rated film on the page is... Ben-Hur, followed by The Ten Commandments and Scaramouche at no.3. Scaramouche?

Lowest rated film is The Conqueror starring John Wayne as Genghis Khan! 2nd lowest is The Silver Chalice.

So you finally figured out a way to get Ben-Hur into another hub of yours ....and you brought The Ten Commandments to the party as well....lol.

Lots of great movies in this hub....the one poster that really stood out to me was John Wayne's The Conqueror....seems they downplayed the Khan part of the movie and concentrated on the love interest....I have seen many Wayne movies...but that one is probably one of the worst that I have seen.

Good to Gregory Peck being represented so well.....and another fascinating chapter in your Poster series.....voted up and across the board.

Thanks for commenting Bruce, always appreciated amigo.

The Conqueror was pretty bad, I mean John Wayne as Genghis Khan? What were they thinking? The script was terrible too, that line on the poster gets quoted a lot in film books.

Robert Taylor has the most films on this page with 5, Stewart Granger has 4, Gregory Peck, Victor Mature and Charlton Heston have 3 each.

I know you're in The Ten Commandments camp and I'm with Ben-Hur, both get 3 posters each and both have the same star, they are the two biggest films of the fifties.

Thanks for posting.

Hi Steve; Some epic films here. Historic period films can be fun if done right (Ben Hur) or atrocious when done wrong (The Conqueror).

Another good collection of photos,

Rob

Thanks Rob, appreciate the comment. I like the hype on The Conqueror poster, "2 years in the making!" , "At a cost of $6,000,000!" And the film was still crap! :)
