  2. Fabric flowers, big flowers usually look better in general. Having some leaves left on the flowers will make it look more realistic.
  3. Green floral tape.
  4. Wire cutters.

Instructions: How To Make A Flower Pen

Making flower pens is actually pretty basic as long as you know how to do it, and have the correct supplies. Making sure that you have everything before you start is always good, so after doing so you may read on to the intrusions.

  1. Start off by cutting your fake flower's stem down to 2 - 21/2 inches long, cut off access leaves keeping in mind how many you do want and that some leaves can make the pen look better and the flower more realistic. You will want to place the flower the bloom is resting on the top of the pen, and the stem being put against the pen. Some people will glue the flower stem to the pen before taping, but this is not necessary.
  2. Take the green floral tape and start wrapping the bottom part of the pen, start as close to the tip of the pen as you can without taping over the actual point to the pen, you are only trying to tape the handle. Tape from the tip to about halfway up the pen, covering completely with green floral tape.
  3. If you haven't already glued the flower stem to the pen this would be when we attach it to the pen. If your not using glue then you use the tape, firmly hold the flower stem along the pen and tightly tape it there. If you do not tightly tape the flower stem to the pen handle it will fall apart very quickly. The flower can wiggle and fall out of place. Finish taping up to the top of the flower blossom.. making sure that the entire pen handle is taped can make the pen look much butter then a badly taped pen... so use a bit of floral tape, don't hold back if you wan them to look good.
