Using Stencils to Paint
Stencils provide an excellent tool for you to learn how to paint. Stencils are basically just pieces of plastic with a cutout in the shape of whatever you want to paint and you fill it in with paint to get the outline necessary to create beautiful pieces of art. Truly simple.
If you don't know how to paint or draw, stencils are the answer. All you need is acrylic paint, stencil brushes, and a stencil of your liking.
You can find stencils online at places like Stencil Ease which has an enormous selection of flower stencils alone. You can also get them at your local craft stores like A.C. Moore, Jo-Ann Fabric, and Michaels to name a few.
You just might find there are so many to choose from online that you get overwhelmed. Don't worry, just start with one and go from there. You can't make a mistake, they are all beautiful and easy to use.

Why Should I Use Stencils?
Stenciling is a fun way to get an outline of anything you want to put on something else, be it paper, canvas, wood, slate, rock, walls, or furniture.
