What You Will Need

For this project you will need a 50g ball of yarn in the colour of your choosing, size 5.5mm knitting needles, and a yarn needle

  • Row twelve: purl one, knit one, purl one * knit seven, purl three repeat from * til last five stitches knit two, purl one, knit one, purl one.
  • Row thirteen: knit one, purl one, knit one, purl two *knit three, purl seven repeat from * til last three stitches, knit one, purl one, knit one.
  • After you have done all thirteen rows repeat rows 4-13 once.

Step Two- Ribbing

I know usually the ribbing is knitted first and not last, but originally this project was going to be a scarf not fingerless gloves.

For the ribbing you just knit two, purl two and repeat accross.

Keep doing this until the entire work measures about seven inches from the very start to finish. Or you can make your fingerless gloves longer if you wish, it's just personal preference. Then you bind off.

Step three

Fold in half so that the wrong side is facing out, and thread the tail end through the yarn needle, sew the side together making sure to leave an opening near the top for the thumb hole. Finish sewing it up, and turn right side out, and your fingerless glove is now finished.
