Famous Mona Lisa Eyes Reveal Possible Identity of Model

Mona Lisa Mystery

The Italian researcher Silvano Vinceti claims that in the eyes of the Mona Lisa, the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci, tiny initials can be seen.

Vinceti says these may indicate the identity of the woman portrayed, who is still a mystery--but perhaps for no longer.

Pupils

The statements of Vinceti on one of the most famous paintings of all time caused quite a stir in the art world.

The initials are not visible to the naked eye , but Vinceti made use of images in super high resolution for the study. of the eyes of the Mona Lisa.

"In her right pupil, the letters L, of course, the initials of Leonardo da Vinci, but more interesting is what the left pupil shows," said Vinceti.

It looks, says the expert Vinceti that the letters B or S, or possibly the initials CE. The researcher believes that the letters make clear who the real Mona Lisa was.

Milan

Vinceti also assumes that the Mona Lisa was not created in Florence, but was painted in Milan."On the back of the painting, the number is 149. A fourth numeral is deleted, "says the researcher.

"This indicates possible that Da Vinci made the painting in the year 1490, when he was in Milan. Probably the model was a woman of the court of Count Ludovico Sforza."

Hey, i have read the news about the numbers or letters written in mona lisa's eyes. Leonardo da vinci had a uniquie style of giving hidden information in his paintings. May be that is what we call Da-vinci code. I read this news in my local newspaper. I will come back with more information on this. Nice hub.

I believe it is a real Da Vinci and love all the Hype on it and the media coverage. To have scripts or numbers in the eyes and other unique things to Prove it is an original.

how sure are you? as you accredit those biographies of the person named MONALISA and her painting.

last year, Ce stood fro her real name to be carolina and since then i’m still researching,Lisa Gerardini from before, articles.

very weak is the credibilty of any article writen about her, davinci and the entire dispatch revolving around this ITEM of art! not only on this blog but all over, then came out just a week ago the LETTERS PAINTED BEHIND THE EYES MYSTERY, CE. what does it stand for anymore? not her intials as it was believed to be! is it something about his method painting by letters and numbers! and i frankly can not forget the biographies on web sites like this one!i'll explain.

visions from the past! even though my humble travelling around the world may not land me on travel wizards list, i can tell you if you are related to europe and travelled there with belongings at the to live there, they willl print little numbers on your valuable items, even as of today. so here it goes:

The monalisa name was always monalisa, lisa gerardini is a hire of the painitng, the painting travelled a lot.
