Dawson Painting In My Home

This painting has been in my home for many of years. It is an oil on board.Signed by Dawson  on the lower left side of the painting. It as been a very great conversational piece from where did I get it are who is the artist. My guest always connected with it.I have to say that Montague Dawson painted this just for me.I have sat and stared at this painting many of days with a sense of feeling what it was like to be on that ship and what was going on at the time of this great voyage.I collect sail boats, ships and small light houses; but I never seem to get enough ships are sail boats.

I hope you enjoy it.

Very cool, we had an original "Kalvoda" water color in our living room growing up and it was near and dear to all our hearts (he was a neighborhood Dad from my Father's childhood) something about growing up with original art that gives a ton of richness to our existence. Great article Swiftly!
