My New Paint Brush Is A Canon Camera
Ever since I was a young girl I loved art. As a teen I started working with oil paints, painting still life pictures. One birthday my husband bought a camera for me, nothing very expensive just a good Canon camera. This camera didn’t have a thousand lenses to interchange or high speed framing, it was just something to get me started in the world of photography. He mentioned he wanted me to try my hand at photography stating, “You have an eye for art, let’s see what you can do with a camera.” I laughed at first thinking this isn’t anything like painting, but I soon found out photography did indeed take on the form of art. Now, I am constintly yelling, “Stop” as we are driving along on vacations wanting to “Catch the Moment” on film. Photography has now become one of my favorite pastimes. I still haven’t changed my camera, although I’m sure if I did it would most likely produce better photos. But right now I’m just an amateur that has a good eye and a very patient husband.
