Whether you live are in a rural or urban area there are holiday shots to be had... Obviously the country provides pumpkin patches, but you can also find pumpkins at your local grocery store. If you are lucky, they might even have the pumpkins outside or in a display complete with hay bales.

More than once I have taken my camera to the grocery store and taken shots of flowers, produce, and even some cool jars of cake decorations.

The trick is to be brave. Who cares how silly you look zooming in on a pile of onions in a basket? Winter is coming and I have found that a quick trip to the grocery store can chase away the blues quick and easily.

What a great idea. I take 99% of all my photos for my Hubs. A trip to the grocery store can serve more than one purpose!

Stephanie - Someone once said that the best camera to own is the one that you have with you when you see a good shot. I take mine everywhere. Thanks for the comment.

What a great idea for building an original photo library for use with our hubs. Taking a camera to the grocery store or produce market could produce some wonderful and useful photographs.
