Photography 4: Cell phone Camera.

Updated on June 24, 2013

Cell phone camera.

Photography is in my blood. All the photo's below were taken with my cell phone camera and as you will see, you can take photo's of almost anything. I love a variety of subjects and I think I have an eye for a good photo.

A cell phone camera does not take landscape photos as well as macros and also as the Phone ages, quality is lost.

This does not affect how I feel about the photos that I take.

Cactus.

The photo below is of a cactus and plants are also one of my hobbies. I love plants and nature. I have a lot of succulents and they are beautiful in thier own right.

They are difficult to grow because too much water will let it rot, and too little water will wither them.

They love sun and can take cold even under freezing point. Here in South Africa we have a lot of sun so it is ideal to grow cactus. Our weather has changed over the last few years to a wetter climate but still we have the sunshine. I have changed in giving them water. Nature is now in control and I watch them grow, getting water only when it rains.

New born.

This photo below is of newborn baby "Chloe". She was 8 days old when I took this stunning photo, look at the point of her lip at birth.

Bee.

As always my favorite insect. They are not easy subjects when it comes to posing for photos and you have to be very patient to get a winning photo with a cell phone, but patience pays as you can see by this stunning bee photo and the size of the flower it is on.

Delicious monster.

A delicious monster plant I had it for quite a while. One day I noticed a seed and not long after, found this stunning and exotic seed blooming on the plant. I never knew that this plant have such an stunning flower/seed.

Red succulent.

This litle succulent is a small as a finger nail growing in my garden. This is a close up.

Camera Phone History.

A camera phone is a mobile phone which has a camera built in.

Philippe Kahn invented the camera phone in June 1997. The first commercial camera phone was the J-SH04, made by Sharp.

The cameras typically use CMOS image sensors. This is due largely to reduced power consumption compared to CCD type cameras, which are also used.

The lower power consumption prevents the camera from quickly depleting the phone's battery.

Major manufacturers include Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, and LG Electronics. As of 2006, the resolution is typically in the megapixel range with Nokia Lumia 920 the most advanced cell phone camera ever.

Wikipedia.

Nokia Lumia 920 is a smartphone developed by Nokia that runs the Windows Phone 8 operating system.[10] It was announced on September 5, 2012, and was first released on November 2, 2012. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core QualcommKrait CPU and a 114 mm (4.5″) IPS TFT LCD display, as well as a high-sensitivity[11]capacitive touchscreen that is covered by curved Gorilla Glass. It supports inductive charging (it can be charged by being placed directly onto a charging pad) and is compatible with Qi Inductive Charging; further, it features an 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization for still images and videos. It comes with 32 GB internal storage, but has no card slot; hence it cannot be expanded with memory cards. Its touchscreen also can be used with the gloves worn by the user.

As some reviewers criticized the thickness and weight of the phone, Nokia presented the Nokia Lumia 925, a lighter and thinner version of the Lumia 920 with an aluminum body[12][13] and an improved camera.[14]
