The Last Pen You Will Ever Have to Buy

I can’t speak for anyone else but it is the simple things in life that make me happy. Unlike my peers I was required to write with a calligraphy pen/fountain pen as I grew up. I loved my pen and I enjoyed calligraphy as it gave me time to think before I wrote.

It wasn’t until middle school when my parents divorced that I was introduced to the ball point pen and I hated it. Well not literally hated it but I preferred my foundation pen. The ball point pen was crude and now matter what type of ball point pen my Mother bought me, I wasn’t happy without my calligraphy pen.

But as the years went by I adapted and mottled through with the ball point pen. Until recently I had not even seen fountain pens back on the market and the ones I saw were so unreasonably priced for the product. But I came across a fountain pen that was exceptionally reasonably priced and it had a life time guarantee. I like life time guarantees and I have had this pen now for years so I feel really secure in recommending it to you.

With the exception of buying the refills which cost under $5 I haven’t needed another pen since.

For me personally a nice fountain pen that is exceptionally reliable makes me happy and I am hoping it will make you happy as well.

Interesting hub. I am a pen junky and this brings back the memory that I had a fountain pen when I was little and wished I had learned calligraphy. Now I'm gonna hunt for one and give it awhirl.

Hi Lynn S. Murphy,

Your calligraphy will come back to you and you will love your pen and your penmanship with your new fountain pen.

Let me know how it turns out.

Hi Samehada,

What an excellent question? The answer is it depends on how much writing I do but in general they usually last me about 6 months. But the refills are 4 to a pack and they are under $5 USD so when I buy the pen I always buy the pen refills in advance. I recently went 6 months without my pen and I missed it terribly. I have it back now and I am so glad.

Thanks for reading, commenting and providing feedback.
