A Quick Bio
Peter Max is an American artist (born in Germany) who became famous for his paintings that defined the 1960s. His designs were originally used on concert posters, but since he's become just as well known for his original paintings.
Peter Max also became very interesting in revolutionary new printing techniques and produced some prints that might be reminiscent of artists like Andy Warhol.
If you're ever in Las Vegas, be sure to check out the Peter Max art gallery in The Forum Shops at Caesars. You'll find that Max's art now sells for the hundreds of thousands of dollars, but at least you can look without having to get another mortgage on the house.
