Zazzle and Printfection. Why They are so Cool.
I started my Zazzle and my prinfection stores about 4 months ago and absolutely love them. I haven't made an extreme amount of money but like everything, it does take time. Although I have earned a lot more money on Zazzle and Printfection than I have on Squidoo or Hubpages. Which is fine I know that anything worth doing is worth waiting for. To me Hubpages is more of a release where I can exercise my ability to write and I am not holding my breath about money on hubpages.
Hubpages, however is a great forum for would be writers, and I know there is money to be had here as long as you write original content and are patient in getting there. I love hubpages and hope to be a success here. So far I have recognized that the people here are very friendly and encouraging to one another and that means a lot to me.
Some Zazzle designs
Zazzle, Zazzle, Zazzle
The great thing about Zazzle is that you don't have to be a great artist or even a great grahic artist. If you are however, more power to you and you can really show off your art on Zazzle.
How Zazzle works is that you sign up with an account there and it is very easy. Once you sign up then you can customize your store anyway you want. There are ready made templates that they offer or you can upload whatever images you want to decorate your store with. The more original your customization the better and it attracts more people to your store.
Once you have your store customized then you can start uploading your designs onto the products that Zazzle has to offer such as, coffee cups, magnets, greeting cards, keychains, t-shirts and many other products.
It really helps to have a niche for your products. I love vintage pictures, any vintage pictures will do for me. I have gone through countless places in order to find the vintage pictures that I want for my stores, but the thing is, it has to be an image that is not copyrighted anymore. Since all of my images were done way before the turn of the century or before, they do not have a copyright and are in the free domain, which means you can pretty much do whatever you want, non-commercially or commercially, whatever you want.
The only thing is you have to really read the fine print on most of these sights to make sure that they allow you to use the images commercially, sometimes they just want you to mention where you got the images, but still make sure you are not stepping on any toes because Zazzle will pull your image if it is still coyprighted.
The great thing about zazzle is that you just upload your image to whatever product and once you sell it, you get a commission of the sale and you can even set how much your commission will be, of course you don't want to price it so high that no one will buy it, you have to be reasonable so it sells. Once it is sold you do nothing, Zazzle prints it for you, sends it to your customer and your logo is printed on the package. Very easy.
My Printfection Store
Now Printfection is pretty much the same set up, you can use whatever design you want. Some people want to just sell t-shirts, some people just want to sell coffee cups, the whole thing is that you can do whatever you want to do and that is the beauty of it. Of course my niche is vintage items because they sell well and there are a lot of people out there like myself who love retro, classic, vintage images as opposed to more modern stuff.
Printfection works almost the same as Zazzle, although on Printfection there are different style of clothing and houseware items to print on. There are also some houseware items on Printfection that are very nice such as the totebags and the cutting boards and travel mugs as well as skeins. The both sights have many similar items to sell. Zazzle however has more paper items, such as stationary, greeting cards, postcards and stamps. EIther way, they both have a lot to offer and on Printfection you can also set the commission that you want to receive yourself. They also do the printing and they send the items to your customer and all you do is wait for the money to go to your paypal account. Easy.
