One way is to set up your camera on a tripod with the shutter open. This is useful if the lighting occurs at night and thus only the light burst should record.
You can hold the shutter open by pressing on it ( the bulb setting) or set it for a few seconds intervals depending on what type of camera you have.
You can do one at a time or leave it open for an extended period to record multiple light bursts on one frame.
Make sure the camera is away from any other light source.
