Within the parameters of your question, it would simply be a role reversal of society today. Women would be raised as the defenders, the protectors, the providers, and men would be the caregivers.
In some cultures this already takes place.
However, women being subjugated was not through sexism but evolution. As women we are weak and vulnerable while pregnant, and our bodies are frail as it is. We cannot hunt or gather in the later weeks, and for a time afterward.
Men became the logical protectors, never having to conceive or nurture the next generation. They developed faster reflexes, thicker muscles, stronger bones. Men became resistant to certain disease while women resist others. Men became taller, women developed a wider pelvic girdle.
In the end, all the choices that our ancestors made about the survival of the species led to the social subjugation of women that is more readily present in Islam today (though they are hardly the only ones and often treat their women the best).
It is rather unlikely that unless certain factors involving reproduction were altered that women would be able to rule as men do.
