Supplies for Making Your New Baby Cards
What you'll need
Making your own baby cards requires some basic supplies. Some you may want to purchase at a craft store or online. Other items you may find around the house.
Depending on the type of card you plan to make, you will need cardstock in baby friendly colors, scrapbook paper with a suitable design, glues and adhesives and a cutting tool.
Items such as buttons, ribbons, lace, stickers, glitter, beads and so forth are good embellishments or trim.
Pens with colored inks are good for writing sentiments or greetings. Alternatively, print your sentiments from your computer and attach with glue.
Place your baby card in pre-purchased envelopes, which you can decorate to match your card. Alternatively, you can often find envelope templates on the Internet if you want to make your own.
