Original Cat Art Coloring Pages by Nicole Pellegrini (sockii)
Love cats, and love to color? Then hopefully you will enjoy these coloring pages, created from my very own original artwork!
That's right, these are 100% original, unique coloring pages you can print out to color at home. I've created them (using the Colorize Your Photos software program) based on my own drawings and paintings of cats to provide lots of fun for coloring enthusiasts, young and old. See the original work and then try to recreate the images for yourself - or go wild and come up with your own colors for these cool cats!
"Camouflage" - Can you find him?
Meet Justin. He's a gray-and-white short-haired kitty who loves to hide in Zebra-striped sheets. Can you find him in the patterns of the bed? Click the link beneath coloring page image below to download and print it out for yourself!
"Cat Nap" - Ssssh...he's sleeping!
Dudley is an older cat, so he spends a lot of his time sleeping. He likes his bed nice and soft. Why not give it a little color?
"Companion" - He'll be your loyal friend.
Bear is a sweet-natured, "gentle giant" of a Maine Coon cat who wants to be your friend. Can you capture the silky, shiny texture of his black fur?
"Felinus Geometrica" - Mischief goes cubist
Mischief the cat sometimes likes to cause trouble, but here she finds herself in the middle of a geometrical puzzle. Can you help her find the way out?
"Gio in Winter" - Coming out of the shadows
Gio is a shy cat who needs a lot of love. He was rescued from a rough early life outside, attacked by a raccoon and with one of his hind legs broken. But after plenty of love and tender care, he walks and runs like any of the other cats in the house! Can you help coax him out of the shadows and capture his fiery orange fur?
"Kinship" - The ties that bind
George and Martha are brother and sister, and extremely close to this very day. I originally drew them only in black and white - can you imagine how they might look in full color? (Here's a hint - there's a photograph of them toward the bottom of this webpage!)
"Mischief Takes a Rest" - Even naughty cats need to take a break!
When not causing trouble, Mischief likes to take a nap on soft blankets - especially when they're super warm from the clothes dryer! What color blanket is she sleeping on? Use your imagination!
"Peaceful Bear" - Enjoying the afternoon sunshine
Bear loves to spend his afternoons watching the birds outside while stretched out on his favorite rug.
"Playtime" - What's Martin's favorite toy?
Martin is a large tabby cat who still has the heart of a young kitten. He loves to play with his toys and is waiting for you to join him.
"The Queen of All She Surveys" - Don't mess with Sassy!
Sassy is quite the royal princess. After several rough years on the streets of Philadelphia, she now lives in a beautiful large house in rural New York, where she spends her afternoons ruling the household and enjoying the peaceful scenery. But she's never lost her Philly attitude!
"Ready for my Close Up" - Sammo the Himalayan cat
Sammo is a Himalayan, a very special cat with fur and features like a Persian but colors like a Siamese. He is very aware of how special and pretty he is, too. Even though he is pretending to sleep, he'll keep one blue eye on you and wait for your affection and adoration.
"Watchful Eye" - Martin is keeping an eye on you, too!
As playful as he is, sometimes Martin needs to take a nap, too. Of course, he'll usually keep an eye on what you're up to at the same time. Can you see him watching?
"The Young Prince" - A small cat with a big attitude
Jack is a young tabby with Abyssinian blood - hence his very large ears. He also knows he is of quite royal descent, can't you tell from his expression and pose? So be sure to color him in with style and grace as he expects nothing less.
My Plea to All Animal Lovers
Please adopt, don't buy
Every day, thousands of cats are euthanized in shelters because no one will give them a home. Yet at the same time, people will pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to buy a single cat of a desirable breed or age from a breeder or pet store.
Does this strike you as wrong? Because it does to me.
ALL of my cats have always been rescues - whether brought in from the streets or the outdoors ourselves, or adopted from shelters, rescue agencies, animal hospitals or otherwise. If you're considering getting a new pet, please take the time to go to your local shelter or rescue organization first to see if you can bring a wonderful second chance to an animal in need of love and a good home. And if you don't have room for another cat in your household, please consider donating to wonderful charitable organizations such as Alley Cat Allies, the Humane Society, City Kitties, or your own local animal shelter/advocacy group. These are people doing great work who could use your help in order to help save more animal lives.
Irises have long been one of my favorite flowers since childhood. I loved their tall, stately blooms and dramatic colors, and always enjoyed drawing and painting...
Do you love Orchids? Orchids are some of the most colorful, exotic and beautiful flowers in the world, and their near endless varieties have fascinated flower...
