What kind of paper do you like to draw with
As I specialise in portraits, I tend to use an acid free off white paper usually 130 gsm. All my work is printed using the Giclee printing process which doesn't like pure white paper. (doesn't pick up the tones very well)
I usually draw with a pencil.
Usually an off-white medium - as in not too fine but not too coarse. I don't like papers that have no 'teeth'
none. i can barely draw a stick figure lol
a paper with some tooth if I'm drawing with pencil, charcoal or conte, but a smooth paper if I am drawing with ink or marker.
Hand-made off-white paper
A good old, cheap sketch pad. It also depends what you are drawing with: charcoal, pastel, pencil?
