I love making skirts for myself and I sometimes do. Given the fact that I don´t have children, the girl in my life is always me. I think I´m past the age of using elastic waist in my skirts but I´d love to make the Peggy skirt of these days! I actually clicked on the tutorial link but it didn´t open :(

Love the blog change! Pretty.I bet you could lttlaoy make that tree skirt. Get a big piece of fabric you like and cut it into the shape of a tree skirt. Take a wide ribbon you like or a fabric cut into long strips (finish the edges), and by hand sew a running stitch along one edge of the ribbon/strips, scrunching the fabric down into ruffles of the size you like. Tie off your thread, then pin and sew your ruffles to the base skirt working from the outer edge inward. I don't think it would take you long at all.

I would just like to say that learning PHP on yobutue is cool and all and there ARE some really neat tutorials, but If you ever felt that you wanna learn all of it quick, Simplephp is a complete guidebook to the php language in an e-book form. It takes all the useful information and displays it then goes on to the more complicated fancy stuff. Good php programmers can make like 125$ an hour so why not learn it and make the money yourself! Its WAY cheaper then all the rest. Here: tinyDOTcc/332n9
