After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, did the youth hostel, backpacking through Europe, life - changing journey, complete with Eurail Youth Pass, sometimes boarding a train just to sleep. Covered London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg, Geneva, Toulouse, Florence, Rome, Naples, Brindisi, Corfu, and Barcelona, in a very sketchy manner.
