The Mist: from Short Story to Pure Shakespearean Tragedy
by JarrodHaze
The Mist is a short story by Stephen King made into a film by Frank Darabont, who previously had done King's Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Darabont does an incredible job faithfully recreating this story, with one minor change that Stephen King praises as "terrifying." Lord of the Flies meets a Shakespearean tragedy in this incredible film, with undertones of the dangers of fundamental religion. published 3 months ago
