Did you know that much of what people call "classical music" technically isn't Classical? Knowing the periods of classical music can make it easier to find music you like when shopping for classical music. Here's a brief overview of the different periods of music that typically fall into what people refer to as classical music.

We did it because there were so few Christmas albums where we could say we liked all or even most of the songs that were on them.
