Cross-Bearing Is Not Easy
Cross-Bearing! Only the strong in Spirit can bear it. Many a lazy and greedy have set their shoulders under it only to collapse beneath its weight. This moral collapse is the sad testimony and is the result of those unwilling to deny themselves.
1 commentIf Riches Increase, Set Not Your Heart Upon Them – Psalm 62:10
It is all about where I set my heart. If my heart is set on the Savior, Jesus Christ, then my riches are His as well. Possessions become a means to an end to serve Christ rather than the end result of their own pursuit. Eternal happiness is that the fuel and the engine and the direction of this heaven bound vehicle is all Christ.

In an imaginary land and in a make believe time there was a wise mother pig who had three little pigs. All little pigs love to dance and play, and these piglets were no different. 3 commentsIn the Beginning, God
Therefore, herein is the woven rope to which I cling. “In the beginning, God,” I cleave to this; the Bible makes no error. I do not understand all of Genesis, but I accept as my starting point, God. Before all things, God: Before all time, God. Before any evolution, God. Before any, “Big Bang,” God. There must needs be an Antecedent to man and matter. He is God. There must needs be a Light Giver; He is God. The story of life necessitates an Author; He is God. God is the One who strike
7 commentsChoices, Excuses, and Consequences

10 commentsPrayer of Jabez - Most Honorable
Here is a beautiful prayer from a young man with a true design of integrity. He desires no harm to anyone; he requests nothing but good for all; and towards this goal, he seeks and prays to be kept from evil. The Bible says his earnest entreating prayer reveals his character. By seeking first the kingdom of heaven the Bible calls him honorable. There is a famine of principled people in our land; it is even more refreshing to read the lives of our youth who start with faith in God.
