Q. How often do I have to change the solution?

A. The rule of thumb is when there is a build up of sludge on the bottom of the tank of 1” or more. You do not want to bury heat elements in sludge. You need to empty strainer in bottom of washer where water returns to reservior daily.

Q. Do I need stainless steel?

A. For most application the answer is no. The detergents we use have a rust inhibitor for the steel parts you clean. This builds up on the cabinet and internal parts and forms a protection. When machine is first started we recommend it be operated the first cycle with no parts in order to get this rust protecting coating in place. I have washers in the field made of mild steel that are approaching 20 years old with no rusting problems. The exception comes when we provide a washer with a separate rinse cycles, in this case I highly recommend stainless

Q. What does a 7- day timer do?

A. This is an electrical timer that programs the heat to come and go off automatically at designated times. It is designed principally so you do not forget to turn off evenings or weekend.

Q. Do I need a center spray to get close to parts?

On taller washer cabinets of 40 inches and above this is good to have. We place them as standard on all our unit of with this working height.

Q. Do I need to increase the pump horsepower?

A. Some times this a good item for heavy-duty cleaning. It modestly increases pressure but more importantly it increases flow. Using balanced flooding is how we are getting very clean parts in a timely fashion
