Workshop Machinery- Automotive service equipment- best auto air conditioner charging machine.
evacuating and recharging an air-conditioner
Modern air conditioning recharge stations come in a variety of configurations.
There are three ways of setting up to do air-conditioner recharging.
- separate unit for each function.
- Separate unit for some functions.
- A combined fully automated machine.
I can throw a bit of light on the subject as far as choices, but to me it is a simple enough decision.
I would choose the fully automated combined station with scales built in and with the capacity to evacuate, purify recycle and store all r12 r13 gases
The best of them are very reliable and have many self protective features. There is good profit to be made in having a fully automated recharge station.
Stick with the big brand names though.
Robinaire dominate the market for new machines.
Ariazone make the best machine and provide the most professional service in my experience.
You can make very nice money with an air-conditioning recharge station because it is set and forget. All you need to do is hook it up to the air-con gas lines and get on with working on the next job. The only set-back is that the car you are recharging the air-conditioner on will be using floor space, so keep that in mind.
The main thing to consider with an automated machine is quality.
If one part of the multi-function system breaks down, the whole machine will be out of action, so it is imperative that you buy a top quality machine with fast backup service.
