I've been rear-ended at a traffic light, many years ago. The light had *just* turned green -- I mean, I hadn't even had time to take my foot off the brake yet to start moving again -- and BLAM! outta nowhere I got nailed from behind, I never even saw it coming. I believe my exact words were "What the @#$%??"
Fortunately nobody was hurt, but the girl driving the car that hit me was freaking out, she apparently had just gotten her car back from being repaired after a previous accident, and here she was again.
Her car was a Hyundai and I was driving a Chevy Cavalier. The whole front end of her car was smashed in like a crushed beer can and I only sustained some minor damage to my rear bumper. I was able to drive away but the police had to call a tow truck for her vehicle. I got off easy on that deal.
That was 1995 and right then and there I made a decision that I will never own a Hyundai.
