    ugly slow but probably comfortable I'd drive it but I wouldn't buy it

    Impressive!, but no contest with the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL coupe

      The "Gull Wing 300 was a masterpiece in it's day for sure, but the onboard management system , passive and active safety devices has made the newer models much better in many ways too. The Gull Wing will probably be better remembered though, as it was well ahead of it's time.
