Anyone know how to read the fault codes on a 1998 dodge intrepid with out using a code reader? Also does anyone know where to find a list of the fault codes for the same car?
most Chrysler products (also dodge and jeep) the owner are able to switch the key on and off to get the code read out on the OD
pattern used but may vary. must be with in a 5 second time period
the code will read out on the dash starting with a "PXXXX
and has four digits (P for power-train)
usually there is a list of codes it will scroll through and will display "done" at the end
