Only 1,529 Volts were sold in December.  Even with the $7500 subsidy, the cost of a Volt is almost $40,000 for a small car.  What will happen when the subsidy ends?

Who knows. If I'm going to pay almost 40k for a car, that may save me a few thousand in the year, and take almost 10 to pay itself off--that is if I have no issues, battery doesn't die on me in mid drive, phone app is relatively accurate, and mileage is half decent, goes further than most gas operated cars, has a 5 star crash rating, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix--I think I'll just buy a truck. smile
