4 ways to manage your Hubs, and double your money over night.

Updated on March 15, 2012

This time of the year, everyone is worried about their finances, and looking for ways to make extra cash.

For me, I've found amazing, and super simple ways of making that happen, all while working from home.

I've been working hard on constantly updating my freelance blog, all the meanwhile, working on two other content mills, and getting started on writing a book. Needless to say, this has been one of my busiest years yet.

The question that everyone keeps asking me is: How do I make money from home on line?
Well, the answer itself may be simple, but believe me when I say it takes a lot of hard work.

One of the ways that I make my money is by writing on this Site: Hubpages. I fell in love with it because I get to write about whatever I want. I have several niches, including: money, business, family, and health. If you want to make money by writing on this website, the first thing that You have to do is take your work SERIOUSLY. There is no other way around it.

How do you take your work seriously? Well, the simple part is to write, and keep on writing until you can no longer write anymore, and then sneak in one or two more hubs before you are done. Yes, it's simple if you love to write. The hard part is what you have to do after you publish your hubs.

When you write, the only way to make money from your work is to get traffic to your site. This is done by constantly marketing your hubs, and making sure that you follow up on your comments.

Since it can be hard to write more than 3 hubs a day, or sometimes just the one, many writers simply focus on marketing their hubs, and making sure that they get the traffic that they need to their work. This can take a lot of work, but it doesn't have to turn into a headache!

These are 4 easy ways of managing your Hubs to continue making money from them.

  1. Keep your Hubs updated. Make sure that your hubs have up to date information that can help your readers. The biggest problems that many writers have these days, is that their hubs or other articles are sometimes outdated. You don't necessarily have to write a new hub everyday, just make sure you go back, and read your old work, and make sure that the information is fresh. If you change one thing or two, it can be like writing a new hub.
  2. Update your about me section. Working on a new project? Adding new niches to your site? Well, if you are then tell your friends, by updating your about me section on hubpages. Whenever I do this, my profile and hub views double almost overnight. When you are a great writer, people want to know more about the person behind the words.
  3. Remember to respond to your comments! This is perhaps one of the most important things that you can do on Hubpages. Why? because you show people that you are interested in their opinion, and it also increases your traffic.
  4. Include Links on your Hubs. Since I began to write on Hubpages, I've found that traffic to my blogs has quadrupled. This is mainly because I make sure to link my hubs at least once to my blog. Doing this is a great way to ensure that you create a steady form of traffic to other blogs, or websites that you may be working on. Not only that, BUT you can also increase your Adsense earnings!

So, here are some of things that you can do to increase your earnings on Hubpages, and you can use these tools to increase traffic to other websites too!

Have fun making money!
