Another view on the importance of customer service

One of the most important things to consider when buying home appliances for our household is the quality of the store’s customer service. Usually, we fail to notice this since we are too focused on opting for the brand—it’s practically saying that, the more expensive the item is, the better its quality. As this has always been the case, we simply forget the fact that we can buy these brands from all other appliance stores spread across the country. Thus, it should not only be a matter of which brand to patronize but also more importantly, which appliance retail store provides the best customer service.

To speak of customer service is to speak of meeting the customers’ satisfaction. It starts from identifying, understanding, and effectively responding to the customers’ needs and concerns. Accordingly, as a consumer, we should be meticulous on choosing the right home appliance store as much as we are thorough on choosing the right appliances for our homes. We should buy from stores which have excellent after sales service; stores that will not make a run for our money. We should choose a store that provides a lifetime support—that if we ever experience technical problems with the item we have just bought, their service team is there to cater to our concern.

Moreover, it is also important to take into consideration the store’s reputation. Aside from matters concerning to after-sales-support, handling and addressing customer complaints and overall performance must be taken also into account. A reputable appliance retail store always has a large clientele, and what better way to know its performance than ask those people who has first-hand experience with the store.

This is a good hub. It would be great if the title gave more information on what the hub is about.. "Customer Service.." I have been in that field for ever. Anyone who works with anyone in any field has customers to serve, and it's important to remember just how important they are to our success. Well done!

Good point, jsantos. The quality of the store's customer service is just as important as the quality of the appliance you purchase. Too often, shoppers concentrate only on the latter.

yes. it does become a problem when people just buy products without even thinking the after-sales support. this is why i am constantly campaigning for customer service! thanks for the comment
