Online content is written for a different audience
Print content is written for a different audience than online content. Print content is generally written from a perspective of entertaining more than anything. Of course, there are books or print content along the lines of tutorials or do it yourself models which provide more than entertainment.
The majority of print content is actually created for the author to share with the reader. Whether its thoughts, viewpoints, assessments or outlooks it’s all the same. It may or may not provide relevant information that educates the reader. Internet content is always to inform, advise, update, notify or enlighten. Internet content is educating. Readers are searching for the unknown when they enter a query and your job when you create Internet content is to satisfy their needs by informing.
Online content is enlightening
Make certain that your online content constructed for the Internet provides a reader with something they didn’t have when they arrived. A reader should leave your article, site or blog with what they came for each and every time. A great writer will even give them something more. This will assure you make the sale, make a name for yourself as a writer and differentiate your content and subject matter from others in your same niche.
Online content is dynamic
Online content is differentiated from print content in the formatting of the information. Print content will have an inactive read. The reader is inactive with the information being offered. Interactive print doesn’t exist, but online content is always interactive. Print subject matter will appear linear, narrative and is a continuous view. This differs from Internet content because the Internet reader is rarely focusing on information that is not linear. Nearly all of the information that traffic interacts with online is informal. This is the same for blogs or websites.
