MODULE DESCRIPTION : This module contains information about

medium of communication, workplace

documents, such as leave, job order and

requisition forms, in orders to have knowledge

in workplace information. It also provides

topics about group discussion to be aware on

how to participate effectively in a workplace.

There are activities and self check provided to

apply what has been learned.

SUMMARY OF LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Upon completion of this Module the students/trainees will be able to:

LO 1: OBTAIN AND CONVEY WORKPLACE INOFRMATION:

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:

  1. Communication tools and human resources are identified and explained as appropriate source of workplace information.
  2. Questions are carefully formulated accurately to gather information.
  3. Four types of questioning are used to gather additional information.

CONTENTS:

  1. What is workplace information?
  2. Asking and obtaining information.
  3. Types of Questioning

CONDITIONS:

The students must be provided with the following materials:

  2. modules

METHODOLOGIES:

LO2: PARTICIPATE IN WORKPLACE MEETING AND DISCUSSION:

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:

  1. The meeting is properly organized
  2. Responses/Reactions/Ideas built during the meetings are expressed clearly.
  3. Proper terms are used in handling a meeting.
  4. Types of group discussion are differentiated
  5. Any of the types of group discussion is illustrated.
