How to Sell Vintage Clothing
What and Where to Sell Vintage Clothes
What to sell is any clothing from the 80's or earlier that is in good condition. I was a teen in the 80's so it cracks me up to think that what I used to wear daily is now considered "vintage" but I sell 80's style clothing all the time on eBay.
I think you will find what you are attracted to as far as style and you will find others that are just as smitten with the item to buy it from you to wear or to add to a collection. I personally love anything form the 30's and 40's on up to the 80's. I have even found items that were in just ok condition that still sold for a few.
I find my Vintage clothes to sell at local thrift stores, as is stores and garage sales. I try to grab what ever I can in my search. I have also found that some thrift stores save a lot of their vintage items to put out around Halloween for costumes, you can find some really great stuff at that time.
eBay is an ideal Market place for vintage clothes. Etsy is a great place too. If you would rather not go for the online option, although I highly recommend it, you can rent a space at a local antique mall, sell at a consignment shop and there are also stores like Buffalo Exchange that will buy clothes straight out from you.
I sell on eBay with an ebay store... you can check out my store... the Cherry Picker Boutique on eBay. I will include a link below. I sell all types and era's of clothing and have made a nice little at home business for myself. I am now a Work at home mom and have tons of time and financial freedom.
I hope this inspires you to check into this great idea and make a few extra bucks or make a living doing some thing that in my opinion is so much fun.
