I am no one-(not me)

I am no one

Just wasted space-a nameless face

occupying time

In your welfare line

I'm the streets that you spit upon

The pavement you litter on

That addict with static-

The beggar you refuse...

I am the child that parents abused

The sons and daughters that were born to lose

That soulless soul

looking for that pot of gold

I am that soldier...of fortune...

Fighting in this war

the man and woman that represents the law

To you I'm nobody but I'm so much more

I am a lifetime of pleasure

a lifetime of pain

I am that broken heart that you keep breaking

time and time again  (C)

"Why Brenda Why"...'WHY would you give us so much love then leave us without an explanation. What or who would make you leave hubpages??? I mean I'm thankful to all on hubpages. But you're like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, so now I feel that I'm bangin' my head on a brick wall without someone to catch my fall...can you please come back and catch-me Brenda(can you)?.................

We're all survivors in this world. That's what this poem is all about. It's not about me personally but about life and people as a whole
