Importance Of Diligence

Updated on October 24, 2011

When i talk about diligence, i am actually referring to hard work. if you must become irresistible in life, diligence must be your watchword. it's one of the major high ways to your destiny. Great success is recorded on diligent pursuits. Champions are born, champions emerge after great time of struggle. He that despises preparation, despises greatness. Greatness does not fall upon people from the sky, people workout greatness. It is your level of preparation that gives birth to your manifestation. If you are not hardworking, your closest friend will be mean men. Everyman has his class in life. The class you belong is determine by you. Diligence is the path to that class you desire. Your relevance is in your continuity. Stop being lazy and do something about that idea that has been dropped in your spirit.

Remember; ideas have short life span, if not carried out immediately, they can expire.if you are an idle man, you will end up a beggar. Many people are loaded with potentials on the inside of them but they are struggling in life. One of the reason they struggle is laziness. ("How long will you slumber, o sluggard? when will you rise from your sleep. A little sheep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep. So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man" (Proverbs 6:9-11) ). Too many people avoid discovering the secret of success, because deep down they suspect the secret is hard-work. Sitting still and wishing has never made anyone great.
Hard-work does not kill, idleness does. There is a saying that risk takers are world changers. The fear of risk s the mechanism of poverty. He who fails to take risk, fails to live. Excuses are highways to failures in life. Dare to be different by venturing into things that will make you change your world. Remember goal setters are goal getter. Don't procrastinate, start doing something now, because procrastination is the twin brother to laziness. It is only a lazy man that says; " There is cold therefore i will not work today". ("He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich" (Proverb 10:4)). There is no way poverty will not become your friend if you deal with slack hands.

Faith that stands alone is not faith, it is fake. Back that faith up with handwork, don't give excuse because of your health condition? Don't give excuses because of your background. we have seen situations where somebody without hands and legs is making impact i our generation. is your case worse than that. we have seen human beings born blind making end meet. Not that they are beggars, they are working with their brains to become relevant in their generation. Idleness will break-you-down but diligence will break-you through. Diligence will take you to a position of envy. Till that ground where God has placed you, there is rewarding in tilling. "He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding" (Proverb 12:11). You may ask where is my land, that thing you are doing is your land. Whatever good thing it is you are involved in, it could be your goal, your profession, or whatever your means of livelihood is. Till it and you will find bread.

The end of a lazy man is always at the bottom. He never rises above that. For you to leave where to leave where you are, diligence must be involved.
