Optimizing Your Cyber Monday Sales

Updated on November 17, 2014

Google

Google ads are also important to evaluate. So far, I have trusted Google to choose the ads that I display on my hubs, but you can still look up keywords and add as many as possible. Google pays per click which means that the shopper doesn't have to actually buy the product for you to make money, although it doesn't hurt. There are some other things that you can do to get people to read your hubs and thus, your ads. First, Ping each of your articles. If you are not yet familiar with Ping-o-matic, add it to your toolbar. Ping is an automatic service that pings various search engines when you write a new hub or any other article. I make it a habit to ping several times a day, especially for some of my articles that appear dusty. To use the ping service, open the article that you would like to send to the search engines and then click on the ping-o-matic from your toolbar.

Cyber Monday-Amazon

It is Cyber Monday and millions of peole will buy online today. Amazon will claim a large share of this traffic and ideally so will those who partner with them. Amazon is not just a place to buy books, they have a little bit of everything. I have been writing online for about 6 weeks and I learn something every day. One of the things that I have learned is that your hubs must be read in order for people to see the Amazon products. I have found that my hubs can always be improved and while I am rewriting or just tweaking them, I can also evaluate the current Amazon products and add more or replace the ones that have not made a splash so far. Even today, it is not too late, people will be shopping all through the holiday season. Amazon can make a big difference in the money that you make this month, so it is worth the effort.

Cyber Monday Tips

Search Engines

Search engines like Google and Bing allow you to submit your articles to them yourself. This is another good practice for writers. This also helps increase your page views. More page views equal more money. These two services are ideal to put on your toolbar. I have been going back to a few articles per day to add them and I have seen an increase in views already. The link for the Google add is http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/index.html. Make sure that you use the highest yielding keywords in the comments section when you are on the add URL page. Google will not guarantee that every URL you submit will be added, but chances are good that most of them will be. It can only help. Additionally, add your URL to the Bing search engine as well. It appears to be the upcoming competitor to Google and getting in on the ground floor will be beneficial in the long run. The link for Bing is http://www.bing.com/docs/submit.aspx Make sure that you fill out the box above before you add your URL. It seems to work better. The more times that you get your content out there and crawled, the easier people will find it.

Social Networks

Social Networking can help you tremendously. I submit all of my articles to, at the very least, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit, and Shetoldme.com. In addition, I take advantage of any other opportunity to share my hubs that I can. I e-mail my friends and i reach out to people that I don't know yet. I add articles to my blog and hope that people will read that as well. My blog is called Mark My Word and if you would like to check it out, here is the URL. http://blaggsrus.blogspot.com/?zx=94496d7a5a5a7892 Don't be shy, market, market and market. When you are done, do it again. Then, network, network, network. Be as aggressive as you can. Have some patience and you will see increased page views and an increase in your income. Try everything and see what works best for you. The Internet is a relatively young market, so there is much money to be made. I am hoping for good return on my time investment today and I wish the same for all others. With these tips, you should see an increase soon.
