Part Time Job In Atlanta
Part Time Employee Wanted
How often have you seen this heading in the job section of your local paper. I see this heading quite often in the metro Atlanta newspapers. With today's economy you would think that any employer could find someone to take a job part time. This does not seem to be the case. A friend of mine has been trying to hire a part time cook for at least three months now. She has hired several but they quit as soon as they can find full time work. She owns a very small family run restaurant and can only afford one full time cook. The person that is the full time cook has been with the company for several years.
The Advantage to Having a Part Time Job
If you are a college student under the age of 26 you should really want a part time job because you can work less hours and still attend school. You don't really need to worry about health insurance because you can stay on your parent's insurance until you turn 26. If you are working part time, you will not only be able to go to school, but will also have time to study.
If you are a retired individual a part time job is great because you can make a little monthly to help with your retirement benefits. You typically do not need insurance because you are covered under medicare for your health insurance.
if you have not had a job in several years, part time work is a great way to get re-acclimated to to the work world. If you are still raising a family but the kids have started to school a part time job would be the ideal choice for you.
