Shopping!! A Hobby?

The Ideal Shop!! Where shopping is a hobby

It is a fact that many shoppers , shop on the internet , and this has never been more prevalent that now, with the ever increasing popularity of e-bay and amazon and other shopping sites that are too many to name. These online stores are making money hand over fist, and why shouldn't we all have a piece of the pie, as it were. Be honest, haven't you scoured the net for that really good deal, the one we just have to have, from the comfort of your own home, sometimes spending more than we would have done, had we physically gone to the shop. Aren't we all looking for that extra bit of discount, to keep our hard earned money in our pockets just that little bit longer.

With Christmas coming up, every penny counts, and I think that sometimes I would like to choose a product online and know in an instant if that product could be bought elsewhere for cheaper, do you think that will ever happen? A shop that will compare prices and that will automatically compare several identical products allowing us to choose the best price for us. Wouldn't that be amazing?

Hands up anyone who wouldn't like the idea of getting cash back from any purchase they made? Think of it this way, If you went into a shopping mall or market and set up your own shop, would it be reasonable for you to expect a discount from any other shop within that shopping community? Of course not! But doesn't that seem like an ideal place to set up a shop.

Anyone who has ever worked in or owned a shop, knows that every year and sometimes twice a year , you have that all important , time consuming activity of stocktaking, I feel, that in this age of technology where everything is computerized , why not click a button and the whole thing is done automatically. If you could have a shop that can do this for you, where you would know what stock you have, whether its the last one, out of stock, or even whether you can get any more, all with a click of a button, wouldn't you be thrilled.

Wouldn't it be great, if we could have a shop online, where we don't have to buy anything, just choose what you want from thousands of retail outlets and put them on your shelves. It will take you a little time to do a review, and, add in some keywords, but wouldn't it be worth your time and effort, I know you agree

Ok, so here's the bottom line -

There is a shopping mall just like this, where you can have your own shop on line, and you can have it published on the internet and at no cost to yourself, No, not even for hosting. All you need to do, is, choose a name and a unique url for your shop, choose some products, review and add keywords, then publish.

For actually joining this community you are allowed to set up five different shops , link them to google adsense, earn up to 10% commission on anything you sell, and also receive discounts from any of the involved sponsoring stores.

Who is going to see my shop?

Your shop will then become one of many within this community and can be visited by anyone of the community, however , for outside traffic, a little more work on your part is required. You can send a link for your shop to all your friends and family, and ask them to do the same or for more visitors you could link your shop to anyone of the free web directories.

For your information , I have compiled some help points which you may find useful :-

1] In a text file, prepare all the important information relating to your Shop (title , description, keywords) in a way that will allow you to easily cut and paste this information into the required fields within the directories.

2] Before submitting a store to a web directory, you should verify that it points directly to your Shop’sURL,as only links pointing directly to your site will be picked up by the Search Engines.

3]Using a “directory of directories” allows you to compile an impressive list of quality directories which you can link your shop to. An example for such a site is

4]Look for directories that specialize in the topic of your shop. For example, if your Shop specializes in home decor, type “home decor directory” into your Search Engine in order to find directories specializing in this topic.

5] Always keep an updated list of your web directory submissions, in order to avoid signing up twice with the same directory.

Find your niche Market

The best way to make an impact on the scene is to specialize in one product area. Don’t know which product area to pick from? Choose whatever interests you! What are your hobbies? What really gets you going? What are you passionate about? We believe that you will spend that extra amount of time on your Shop only if you really believe in and enjoy the product you are selling.

Turn all and any of your interests into a Shop! Try to be as specific as possible when you choose your products. Choose not just books … but children’s books. Choose not just games or video games… but the Nintendo Wii game console. Choose clothes, but categorize them by colours. Be as specific as possible, and try to become the biggest and the best in your specific niche market.

Still not sure how to find your niche product? Use the Google Keyword Tool. This easy-to-use tool will help you find the most sought-after keywords on the internet … which in turn may give you ideas on which products to sell.

Many people I know are shocked when they find out just how easy it was for me to set up a e-store. With a dropshipper you never even have to touch the merchandise. It is easy, but do not slack in the customer service if you want to make sells.
