How to handle stress?
I am so stressed in the past few months since I went back to studying. I work all day from 8 am to 5 pm and go to school at night from 6pm to 9pm. I find it so tiring and stressful that I come up to not to want to raise from my bed every morning.. The sad part is, I HAVE TO. Any advice?
Remember to breathe! Planning everything in advance can help with the stress too. Even though you come home from school late, pre-plan what you will the next day and any other task you will have the following day (like meals.) Make sure you take a break during your lunch by actually leaving the environment you work in..if possible take a ten minute walk. Eating at your desk is an absolute "no no." When you get up in the morning, try a few yoga poses. They really help you with your body and your mind. The added blood ciruculation will help with your alertness as well as with your stress. It is best to avoid mindless things like television. If you feel the need to wind down after school, choose a book and a candle lit bath. Before you wake up or before you go down for the night, journal as many things as you can about how proud you are to be furthering your education and describe exactly what it is that will help you accomplish. Congrats on school and good luck!
Chew gum while you study or at school. It works great. Also give yourself some small breaks. They will help you keep some of the stress to a minimum. Listen to some classical music while you study as well. Leave it at a soft volume. It can be rather soothing.
hi frugalfamily.. your words are really helpful.. I appreciate it. I will try to do each of it listed. Very inspirational. Thank you very much! God bless you, too!
Did you try green tea with jasmine in it? The smell is rejuvenating. It helps after tiring schedule
I just wrote and article about this. That is a very tough routine by the way. If you can you might consider trying to have more free time to relax.

Christians, Why do you give your problems to God if God Gave Them To You?Everyone says that God does not give you more than you can handle. So then if you think that you cannot handle it, you give that opportunity to learn back to God? What does that say to the God that You are refusing?

Are we, as the human race, giving God more than he can handle? With all the violence, wars, moral declines and constant breaking of the commandments, when will he say, "That's it! Lights out!" Are we pushing the envelope? I'm sure he has his limits. It's scary when you think about it.
