I market solely online. I use Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/eggmarketing), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/susanpayton), and blogs (http://www.sparkplugging.com/marketing) to build my brand and establish myself as an expert (or rather, an EGGspert). It works pretty well, and is cheaper than print advertising.

I've been doing a lot of advertising online lately. Kijiji is great if you purchase a Top Ad for a week, I've been getting a lot of response from that. I have written an Hub about Marketing your Avon Business.

Its best if you balance your online and off line advertising strategies. To even out handing over of information to your target customers. You can advertise on radio or news paper and put creative design into to attract attention and of course include a business phone number (toll free number),this will help you win customer's trust. For online marketing , one option is to join forums and community discussion.
yeah~ i have marketed my business on WeiKu.com, and if you are interested in it, you can go there and have a look
