How do you best control time management?

I'm in college, and I really don't like to "not be prepared" for a test/quiz, so I end up reading everything super in-depth..etc. How do you guys manage your time? Any cool ways?

I don't believe there is anything wrong with "reading everything super in-depth." Time management wise it is a matter of priorities, for every task you chose to do, you chose not to do something else. So just make sure you do the things that will give you the greatest return for your goals. Hope this makes sense...

Nothing cool.  Just make a list of the things you want to do; and, then highlight the things you cannot fail to accomplish.   Your priorities are then discovered.

Also, most professors give clues as to what they think is important in their lectures.  I had one that would raise his voice on important topics, so I would concentrate my reading on those areas.  Be careful, each professor is different.

    Hope this helps.

Time management is controlled by the same thing that controls everything else you do in life; mind control.  I haven't worn a watch in almost 20 years, I don't keep a clock near by when I am doing something, yet I always complete what I started, on time, and I am always on time for appointments.  Your mind controls the time believe it or not.  If you can get into the habit of using your mind to control the time, you never need an alarm clock either.  Try this; go to bed and tell yourself what time you want to get up and then picture yourself getting up and seeing that time on the clock.  Don't set your alarm clock and go to sleep.  You will wake up about a minute before the time you wanted to.  You need to believe that it will happen and it will.  I do it all the time no matter what time I plan on getting out of bed.  Your mind can control anything, even a front row parking spot at a busy mall or at any place that you want to go to.  If you think of the parking spot before you leave home and then forget about it, you will have that front row parking or the first spot right in front of the place you are going to.  It always works for me.  Have faith in your ability and you will not need to worry about time management ever again.  Just set your sites on doing something within the time you want and it will happen.
