Has Hubpages helped anyone with their writing career?

I find that my HP profile is an excellent CV when it comes to applying for jobs. Because of this I may have an opportunity to work for a company and have a permanent position with them. Has Hubpages helped anyone else?

Thanks for your Hub response to my query re: helping with a writing career. On what basis do you define a 'a great place to build a writing career?' with regards to HUB pages. Thanks David Longford

Thanks: Yes, I do know that there is a learning curve here. Try to start off writing/submitting articles (small) to local publications. You can make extra money and hone your writing skills in this way. housexpert Blind River ON Canada

Thank you for your interest. As I also evolve this new social experience that seems to be focused on like minded people, namely writing buffs, I will, if permitted, try to keep you informed on any knowledgeable help that I receive. housexpert/DavidL
